Abstract

Transcurridos tres años del término de la dictadura del general Augusto Pinochet, el tema de la democratización de la prensa aún se debate entre empresarios y periodistas, y también entre los profesionales y el gobierno del Presidente Patricio Aylwin. La llamada prensa democrática que sobrevivió a duras penas bajo la dictadura no tiene hoy presencia significativa en el espectro de la comunicación social.
