Notas sobre modernidade, decolonialidade e agência cultural na América Latina

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre apropriações da modernidade que incidem sobre a condição latino-americana e, consequentemente na construção de seus próprios processos decoloniais. Discute-se como a diversidade de estratégias de agência cultural na região constrói uma modernidade desde abaixo constituída de maneira transgressora. Demonstra-se que, pensar a América Latina como um mero pastiche ideológico que combina discursos da pré-modernidade, modernidade e pós-modernidade, obedece mais a uma ótica alheia às condições históricas, sociais e políticas, que a uma reflexão contextual das circunstâncias que determinaram nossa particular condição de subalternização.Referências
