Abstract

La comunicación mediante computador (CMC) es una tecnología que facilita el acceso a la información académica, científica y técnica a partir de recursos informáticos y de telecomunicación, representa un potencial importante para el sector académico y de investigación de los países en desarrollo. Los criterios de construcción y las experiencias de la red para América Latina y el Caribe, REDALC son un punto de referencia clave para la evolución informática de la región, este tema es tratado ampliamente en este artículo.
