El 20% de la humanidad agrede al 80% de la naturaleza, sin embargo, la retórica internacional –Banco Mundial, FMI, transnacionales y algunos organismos ecologistas- nos tratan de convencer que todos somos culpables de la ruina del planeta y de otras ideas estereotipadas. El autor, Eduardo Galeano expone las verdades que se esconden detrás de cinco mentiras muy difundidas.1. Todos somos culpables de la ruina del planeta; 2. Es verde lo que se pinta de verde;3. Plantar árboles es siempre un acto de amor a la naturaleza; 4.Entre el capital y el trabajo , la ecología es neutral; 5. La naturaleza está fuera de nosotros.
