Carlos Alberto Carvalho, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Profesor del Departamento de Comunicación Social de la Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, en el curso de grado y en el Programa de Postgrado en Comunicación, donde investiga acerca del Periodismo, Sida y Homofobia, con financiamiento del CNPq. Es autor de los libros Visibilidades mediadas nas narrativas jornalísticas: a cobertura da aids pela Folha de S.Paulo de 1983 a 1987 (2009) e Jornalismo, homofobia e relações de gênero (2012) y numerosos artículos en revistas y libros, así como libros en colaboración y organización.
