Abstract

Este es el Informe preparado por la autora basándose en el documento presentado por la Corporación de Promoción Universitaria CPU. Para conocer la situación de las carreras de comunicación en Chile luego del restablecimiento del sistema democrático se realizó una investigación en las Escuelas de Periodismo y los Institutos de Comunicación Social de la Región Metropolitana de Santiago. Aunque no se pretenda generalizar la situación chilena, la estructura del estudio y algunas de sus conclusiones pueden aportar a los procesos de reflexión y reforma en curso en otros países latinoamericanos.
