Abstract

Desde 1993 comenzará a transmitir el primer satélite español HISPASAT, con una programación educativa, cotidiana, orientada a las necesidades de América Latina. Es un proyecto europeo que sería administrado por una asociación de usuarios con amplia participación gubernamental y no gubernamental de Europa y América. Trata de la situación técnica del satélite español Hispasat, los costos y beneficios y el aliento que debe dársele para lograr la participación internacional.
