Abstract

Para los medios locales en México, el conflicto bélico con Irak, en sí mismo, no interesa sino las constantes presiones de Estados Unidos sobre México para definir su postura en favor del conflicto. En Chile a pesar de la falta de evidencias todos asumieron que Chile respaldaría a Estados Unidos pero el peso que tiene el inminente Acuerdo Comercial de libre comercio es un fuerte condicionante así como las negociaciones con la Fuerza Aérea para la compra de acciones F16 para que lograr este apoyo.
