Abstract

Este artículo delinea algunos de los nuevos problemas éticos y nexos entre la información para la salud y los derechos de ciudadanía. En América Latina la demanda por información sobre salud ha aumentado, por lo que los medios han tenido que ampliar el espacio para este tema. Lamentablemente la mayoría de los periodistas no tienen conciencia clara acerca del nuevo estatuto de la información para la salud debido a la falta de valoración del tema en las Escuelas de Periodismo.
